Sasha's Tips To Taking Care of Your Dog

Tip 1 -  Food

Your dog should have the amount of food suitable for you dog. Depending on whether your dog is small or large.

You should always look at the guide lines on the side of the packet. Also choose a type of food that your dog enjoys so that she will enjoy feeding time.

Water is also important. You should always have a water bucket with drinking water for your dog in a place where she has access to it.

Tip 2 - Toys

For your dog to enjoy playing the most, choose a toy that your dog will like. A fun game for you and your dog to play is fetch.

It gives your dog exercise by running and enjoyment.

A couple of toys your dog may like are squeaky toys or rope toys.

With squeaky toys, your dog can run around chewing it and making the squeaky noise.

With rope toys, your dog can play tug-o-war with itself or chew it and shake it around.

Tip 3 - Fleas

Fleas can become annoying for your dog because they make your dog very itchy.

They bite you dog and suck the blood to feed. That's what causes the itchiness.

The best way to treat fleas is to get one of the flea killing products. There is no right or wrong one though, it just depends what's the best that's suitable for your dog.

Tip 4 - Beds

It doesn't really matter what kind of bed a dog has, as long as it's the right size and it's comfortable.

Put the bed in a place where the dog can feel comfortable and happy.

Tip 5 - Hair Care

Dogs don't actually have hair, they have fur which needs brushing regularly.

Even if your dog has very short fur you still need to brush her fur to get all of the loose fur off.

You will have to find a brush that is good for your dog.

Sasha's Tip: Make each of the activities you do with your dog, whether it be fetch or feeding as enjoyable as possible. This will make a better relationship with your dog.
